Although we have been having beautiful blue skies and sunshine, it has been too hot lately during the day to spend time outside at all (unless the beach or pool counts!)
We celebrated B’s birthday on Saturday with friends for lunch at Newstead Brewery, which was really fun. Sunday we rested and pottered around the house, went out for lunch and then at about 4.30pm went to Kangaroo Point to take some photos in perfect light (with tonnes of wind of course always ruining my hair!) before going for a big walk- 7km- I think that’s a solid effort!
We also tested out B’s new camera, and I love it! I can definitely see a big difference in the quality of the photos. And it’s making me even more excited for blogging. 🙂
I fell in love with this top the other week, and it’s such a good wardrobe piece to wear with any neutral skirt or pants. I liked pairing it with white jeans for a crisp look, my yellow Zara sandals (that I can’t believe I thought I might not get enough wear out of them) and a hot pink bag for contrast, of course. You can tie a bow on the top, but I like to leave it untied for more of a sleek finish.
